W. Scott Rose Argues Case Before Missouri Supreme Court

When defendants surrender their constitutional right to a trial on the basis of a binding, written plea agreement that calls for probation, prosecutors and judges should stand by their word and honor that plea agreement.  To do otherwise, without allowing the defendant to withdraw her plea and stand trial, constitutes a bait and switch.

Attorney W. Scott Rose Has Filed Suit Seeking Immediate Release Of Prisoners Who Have Served More Than One Year For Stealing

Scott Rose has begun litigation seeking the immediate release of any inmate who has served more than one year for stealing.  Mr. Rose contends that the Missouri Supreme Court’s ruling in State v. Bazell on August 23, 2016requires the immediate release of any inmate who has served more than a year on a stealing charge
